My family is here. Harkness, the beach, it’s quiet and good for my son.

Hate about New London:

The crime.

New London needs:

There aren’t enough nice stores downtown. Downtown needs some more investment. Some people just don’t feel safe enough to hang out downtown.

Little known fact about you:

I ran the New York Marathon ‘04. (and I have my MBA from Fordham)

Personal Goal for 2009:

Learn French. And run another marathon.

Your parents’ occupations:

My father was a merchant sailor and my mother was a seamstress. When we came to the U.S. they opened a restaurant.

If you won the lottery today, the first thing you’d do:

Share the money with my family and go on a trip with my husband, travel the world.

Ideal vacation:

Go to a remote island with my son and husband to spend some quiet time alone.

Currently reading:

The Zahir, by Pablo Coelho. It’s pretty good. I throw out a lot of books half-way through, but this one is really holding my interest.

What are you doing to cope with the economic crisis:

Eating out less, and indulging less. I keep working hard, and try not to complain.

Advice to Hillary Clinton:

Talk not just to the leaders of other countries, but try to talk to the real people in these countries. Try to visit schools and hospitals and talk to average people.

Favorite thing about Spring:

It’s rebirth! It’s my favorite season! The warm air. It changes my mood. I’m a new person again. My New Year’s resolutions sometimes start in Spring.
